Jerid and Ann's Wedding at Elk Cove Vineyard Oregon

Despite the pouring rain showers on Saturday, Jerid and Ann still braved a little break in the weather to get a few fun images out among the grape vines. The vineyard, Elk Cove, is in the tiny little town of Gaston (take a left at the big tree out in the middle of nowhere and drive for an hour) and, to be honest, I had never heard of either. The vineyard is so beautiful, though despite it's remote location. It is planted among rolling hills, so the view is really something to see. Thanks Jerid and Ann for giving me a few moments of your day to get such fun images!

Robert & Holly's Eugene Oregon Wedding Photography

Robert and Holly had the good fortune of planning an entirely indoor wedding/reception on Friday. Now, normally I would wonder about someone not trusting the weather so early in September, but Holly must have had an idea that it would rain. Who knew? We got a break in the rain (ok, so it wasn't quite a break, but it was raining less!) shortly after the ceremony so we ran out and got a few fun images out front and by the little barn you see here.

Tyler's Eugene Oregon Senior Portrait Sitting

I love the tones in this image of Tyler. When he came out of the dressing room in the all brown-tone clothes, I thought that this old barn would really look great. I used a very big f-stop to make the foreground and background go out of focus so that Tyler would stand out from the other brown-tones in the image.

Jesse & Kristen at Whisper 'N Oaks

Wow, four weddings at the same venue in just one year! Thanks to Donna at Whisper 'N Oaks for the referrals and her professionalism.
Jesse and Kristen had a really fun and intimate wedding. I first met Kristen's family when I photographed her sister Holly's senior portraits a couple of years ago, and I have enjoyed every minute of working with them. Kristen and Jesse are going to meet me at the beach at the end of next week to shoot in the surf at sunset in their wedding clothes! I can't wait, and I will post an update then.
