Emma, an Oregon High School Senior

Emma is a high school senior at Sweet Home High School here in Oregon. We had very foggy weather but we still got plenty of incredible images of Emma and her family to choose from. In the photo above I used a very shallow focus so that only the plane of her eyes is sharp. I used this technique to bring attention to her eyes, and really make them the center of attention. Tricia's Oregon Senior Portrait Session

Tricia is a high school senior at South Eugene High School here in Eugene, Oregon. Tricia's session started just as the sun was about gone for the day. We hurried over to a local field and got a few images while we could. This was shot with a 1/15 of a second shutter speed, which is really slow, normally it would be around 1/125 or faster. Lauren's Portraits

Lauren said that she hasn't had a portrait since she was a little kid! We had a great time getting some fun portraits of Lauren. In this image, I wanted to use a little more dramatic lighting to emphasize her denim outfit, light up her big eyes, and show off that great smile. Thank Lauren!

A New Baby for Kristy and Sean

I first met Kristy about 6 or 7 years ago when she rented out my darkroom (remember those?). I have since photographer her wedding in 2003, and now I have had this opportunity to photograph her expecting her first child! When Kristy and her mom showed up on Saturday morning the sun was shining! We jumped right into the car and shot this before it started to rain. Congratulations Kristy and Sean!

Jessica's Portrait Session

Jessica recently had her braces removed at Dr. Chvatal's office, so she came in for her "after" portrait. She is a cheerleader at Pleasant Hill High School.
