Brett's Senior Portrait Session

Brett is the quarterback of the Thruston H.S. Colts, so I really wanted to create an image for him that really celebrated that part of his senior year. He told me that quarterbacks weren't really all that tough, but I wanted the image to really relay a quality of youth and strength. The hardest part of the shot was to get the inside of the helmet light up so you would know it was a helmet against that black background. I used another image of just the helmet to blend into the black background to really say "FOOTBALL!". Thanks for missing the Duck game for this Brett!

Christa's Senior portraits

Christa's mom Karen works for the Children's Miracle Network, an organization that we work with from time to time. It was flattering to get a call from her to photograph her daughter's senior portrait session. Christa is a fun kid who works at the child development center and is interested in photojournalism. Christa will graduate from Churhill H.S. this spring.

Jesse & Kristen's Oregon Coast Wedding Photography (again)

Jesse and Kristen got married earlier this month and during the wedding I got this idea to take them into the surf at sunset. What a couple of great sports! Rolling around in 43 degree water in their wedding outfits looks way more romantic than it sounds though!

Casie's Senior Portrait Session

Casie and her mom, Molly, drove all the way from the next block over here in Coburg for Casie's senior portrait session! What a fun girl. She really has her own sense of style, and brought a bunch of great clothes for us to shoot. She also brought a couple of friends and got a buddy photo on the play structure in the park. I shot the image above in one of my new favorite spots. This barn had been covered with blackberry bushes for as long as anyone remembers, so when they were removed this great spot was revealed. Courtney's Eugene Oregon Senior Portrait Session

Courtney was such a pleasure to photograph. She brought great outfits, a positive attitude, and a willingness to try some fun ideas. When her session was over her dad, sister and boyfriend came in to see her slide show. It was great to see them all there supporting her and giving her positive feedback about the great job she had done.
