My Own Children

Last Sunday my wife and I brought our own three children to the studio for their own sessions. We really wanted to capture their individual personalities, so we shot them separately, doing what they are "into" right now. From left to right they are Aaron, 2 years, Avalon, 10 years, and Aiden, 5 years. Aaron can ride anything, and he spends his entire day outside on his Razor or his bicycle or his skateboard. He thinks he's cool. Avalon loves all of that typical girly stuff...getting dressed up, going shopping, doing her hair. She has a great funky sense of style though. In the image above she is wearing Willy Wonka shades. Aiden has dreamed his entire life about having his own motorcycle, and we finally caved in and got him one for his 5th birthday in August. He thinks he's a real Jesse James!

Beth's Senior Portrait's

Beth is a pretty dedicated classical musician, with dreams of attending a music conservatory (like Julliard) in the North East. She brought her flute as a prop, and we shot several images of her with it. Just as we were finishing up I got this idea to tangle it up in her long hair in with the dandilions. Beth was a real sport about it.

Casey's High School Senior Portrait Session

Casey is a musician, so I wanted an image that showed that side of his personality without going too traditional. I had him stand under a studio light and look up into it, pretty simple really. I think the look really goes with his personality as well.

Janessa's Senior Portrait Session

Janessa is a member of the Sheldon High School Ultimate team. It's really ultimate Frisbee, but the hate the word Frisbee for some reason! What a hoot! I love the acronym they have for their team though, H.O.T.I (Huck O' The Irish!). We created the collage above in an attempt to illustrate the action of the game. Thanks Janessa!
